Summary

	This event happened during three-way confrontation Hoth Confrontation Event Cold War (3653BBY - 3642BBY) between Galactic Republic, Sith Empire and White Maw White Maw Organization Planetary and Sector pirates on the planet Hoth Hoth Planet . Captain Maya Drin Maya Drin (Human) Character Minor Characters (TOR) , stationed at the Jagged Plains outpost on Hoth Hoth Planet , tried to put an end to the brutal business of Bala'Dur Bala D'ur Organization Planetary and Sector - a Gen'Dai Gen'Dai Sentient Species faction of the White Maw White Maw Organization Planetary and Sector pirates - who kidnapped peaceful Ortolan Ortolan Sentient Species colonists and turned them slaves, forcing them into salvage retrieval. Her commander didn't know if they could defeat Bala'Dur and didn't want to embarrass the Republic. Drin tried to hire a freelancer, Arkin Bel Arkin Bel (Human) Character Minor Characters (TOR) , but he refused, stating that the payment was not enough to fight the Gen'Dai. Drin then sought help from a group of Republic operatives Republic Operatives Organization Temporary Unions who were at the outpost at the time. The operatives agreed to help, and Drin told them the location of Bala D'ur's base in the Crescent Canyon region of the Clabburn Tundra - the same location where the operatives had previously fought Bala'Dur's patrol during the mission Savage Attack Event Cold War (3653BBY - 3642BBY) to destroy the White Maw's communications jammers, unaware that Bala'Due's base was nearby. The operatives went to the Crescent Canyon and quickly found the base. They carefully explored the entire base, fighting their way through the Gen'Dai slavers and freeing every Ortolan they encountered. Soon it was all over - the operatives killed all the Bala'Dur members at the base, ending their brutal kidnapping business for good. When the operatives returned to the outpost and reported their success to Maya Drin, she was overjoyed, saying that If operatives hadn't done anything, the Bala D'ur would have carried on until they wiped out the entire Ortolan population on Hoth.
